Before I mention wherever the tourist spot in Iceland are, I would like to give you an overview about this country.Iceland is a Nordic island country marking the juncture between the North Atlantic and Arctic Oceans, on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. The country has a population of 321,857 and a total area of 103,000 km2 (40,000 sq mi), which makes it the most sparsely populated country in Europe.
Reykjavík is the capital of Iceland as well as the largest city in Iceland. It is located in the southwestern region of the country being home to two-thirds of the country's population. This city is the most northern capital in the world.
This country has a little bit dangerous characteristics which is volcanically and geologically active. The interior consists mainly of a plateau characterised by sand and lava fields, mountains and glaciers, while many glacial rivers flow to the sea through the lowlands. Iceland is warmed by the Gulf Stream and has a temperate climate despite a high latitude just outside the Arctic Circle.

Regarding the Europian Economic Area (EEA), Iceland already participates in the single market and contributes financially towards social and economic cohesion in Europe. A significant proportion of the EU's laws are applied in Iceland today. Iceland also participates, albeit with no voting rights, in a number of EU agencies and programmes, covering areas including enterprise, environment, education and research.
